My hair journey began in July 2018 with my first big chop, a necessary step after years of damage from relaxers, dyes, and heat styling. Cutting it all off was liberating, but I quickly realized there was still much to address in restoring my natural curls to a healthy, vibrant state. It was during this transformation that I discovered my passion for creating hair products tailored to nourish and celebrate natural hair.

However, in a moment of temptation, I flat-ironed my hair, leading to regrettable heat damage and uneven ends. This prompted my second big chop in July 2020, but it also fueled my commitment to crafting hair care solutions.

Fast forward to 2023, and I’m thrilled with the progress I’ve made! My hair has grown healthier than ever, and I’ve embraced my natural beauty. My mission is to help others on their hair journeys to find joy and confidence in their unique textures, regardless of hair type, ethnicity or gender.

On January 22, 2023, I embarked on a new adventure by starting my loc journey. While I had experience with curls, I was excited to see how my products would perform on locs, and the results have been astonishing. The versatility of my creations continues to inspire me!

As of February 2025, I decided to comb out my traditional locs after three fulfilling years, entering a transitional phase with loose curls. I’m thrilled to be documenting this journey as I prepare for my upcoming microloc installation in April 2025. Currently in March 2025, I’m embracing my hair’s health and vitality with Absolutely AEB products, enjoying bouncy curls and elasticity I never thought possible.
